How Global Financial Info is produced, sourced and funded.
Global Financial Info is an independent financial-education publisher. The library is free to read. We carry no advertising, take no sponsorship, accept no affiliate commission, and sell no reader data. Our only commercial activity is licensing the library for commercial use, which is disclosed on the licensing page and never affects what we publish or how we rank it.
Every article follows a fixed structure: context, the mechanism, what it changes, and what to watch. Articles are written in one of three reading levels. The Foundations tier defines every term on first use, the Building tier assumes no background, and the Advanced tier assumes familiarity. That structure exists so a reader, or a retrieval system, always finds the same kind of information in the same place.
Primary sources come first. When a central bank changes a rate, a statistical agency releases data, a ministry announces a policy or a company files a statement, we cite that institution's own publication, not a wire report describing it. Wire services are used when they carry an original scoop, when the primary source is not yet published, or when the primary is not publicly accessible.
Every figure in our content carries its unit, its date and a comparison. A rate is stated as a rate, on a date, against a prior value. We do not publish a number without the context that makes it meaningful.
We use automated drafting and checking tools in production. Every article passes a standards gate that checks sourcing, duplicate sentences, superlative claims without a stated basis, and numeric consistency before publication, and every figure is verified against the primary source named in the piece. Tools speed up drafting. They do not decide what is published.
We do not publish investment advice, we do not recommend specific securities, and we do not accept payment for coverage. No organization can pay to appear in an article, a ranking or a data product.
Every report is reviewed by the editor within two business days. Errors are corrected in public, with a dated note. See our Corrections Policy.
